A modern studio in an old beach house, Trudie Studios is full service recording, production and mixing studio built in 2020 by engineer, musician and producer Ben Deixler. The studio is located in the second floor of a beach house In Rockaway, Queens.

The studio utilizes a mix of modern and vintage equipment.  Artists can record digitally or straight to tape.

The vision is to create a comfortable, welcoming environment for musicians to make great records. Recording here is like making a record in your grandma’s living room.  The house hasn’t changed much since the 50’s (flower wallpaper, shag rugs, etc.) so there is definitely a vibe.  Rockaway is a relaxed beach town and a great place to surf, kick back and make some music!

We’re located right by the beach and just a few blocks away from the subway (A train) and the bus (Q35). Parking is also available.
